Event Equipment Insurance in Thailand

Loss or damage to equipment is one of the most significant risks when staging large-scale events such as concerts or sporting tournaments. Securing a policy that includes comprehensive equipment coverage ensures that you, as the event organizer, are not left financially responsible for damaged or lost production gear left in your care.
Under a Thailand Event Insurance policy, equipment coverage can extend to warm-up activities, transportation to the venue, and use throughout the event; right up until the gear is returned or handed over to a vendor. This provides full peace of mind, knowing your production assets are protected at every stage of the event.

Equipment Coverage
All equipment used in the planning and execution of an event can be insured under the Equipment Benefit of a Thailand Event Insurance policy.
This benefit provides coverage for accidental damage or destruction, theft or burglary (including incidents involving deception, threats, or unauthorized access), as well as electrical issues such as short circuits, overheating, or over-voltage.
Covered equipment may include, but is not limited to:
- Projection and lighting, filming and cameras, and audio recording and broadcasting systems.
- Portable Generators and other mechanical devices, computers, and even mobile studios in the event a live album is being recorded.
- All Accessories, spare or replacement parts, flight cases and protective equipment, and protective covers related to the insured event.
If the equipment is owned by the organizer, the policy will reimburse its purchase value, minus a 5% annual depreciation from the date of purchase.
For rented equipment, the policy provides indemnity based on the current replacement value; ensuring you are fully protected for any liabilities arising during the rental period.
